It makes no difference who does it, someone still has to drag their a$$ halfway to mars and back! Lets just say your jaws will be sore () with all the.........talking..........you'll have to do to keep me awake on the cold, dark, long journey

Yeah, the A77 is like a 20 mile version of the road between Barnton & Maybury - ie, dual carriageway with no central reservation....
The 1 mile between Barnton & Maybury freaks me out these days - cars apporaching each other at 120mph+ closing speed with a single white line between them!!!
I often just think "burst tyre" and kaboom......
In fact it did happen a few years back on Maybury Rd - artic burst tyre and went over into other carraigeway and killed/crushed car & occupants...
