A couple of years ago i got pull for a head light that was out of line . It cos me £15 to get a stamped police note at the m.o.t station. The police said that i could be blinding people coming in the opposit direction yet it is happening all over now with wallys with fogs on. And the police seem to be ignoring it why i dont know? Would like any police who read these posts to give comment <CHRIS>

was reading this thread today at work, counted 18 people today on the drive home (30 miles), with headlights on and front fogs on - 2 had rear fogs on as well. Definately no excuse for the rear fogs can they not see the illuminated light on the dash saying that rear fogs are on !
Hate the tw8ts that think its cool to drive with side lights and front fogs on. You dont look cool you just look sad!
LOL @ tiggers re X5 - class
Have started to notice that front fogs tend to irritate my eyes a lot more - especially when I'm tired - must be a sign of getting older

QUOTE... THE SUN TODAY

Driver colin £$%"&* got a £30 fine for using his cars foglights - just after coming out of thick gloom.
Colin, 59, of Guildford, Surry, said: 'Before i could flick the lights back, i saw a policeman waving me over. I'm losing faith in the police force'.

HI KEV Did it say in the paper gloom or fog gloom sounds like misty rain to me .The only i think of is he had them on for the wrong road conditions .The thing is that when you get in your car you are responsible for every thing that car does and that includes checking the dash board

Question

IanW: interesting. I clicked on that site, and then went backwards a page, and it SEEMED to be saying that there is no maximum wattage for main beams/driving lights. I always thought it was 60W for a 12V system, and 75W for 24V.

Or have I read it wrong?
