Hi All,

I have just resived this from John.

Skassa:

If anyone is ready to pay for their unit now, let the group know that I will have five 1ch/2ch units completed tomorrow or Friday, and ready to ship as soon as payment is received.

Four of them are V.0 (knock retard only), the fifth one is V.1 with built in MAP sensor and boost retard.

Gauges are still back ordered.

I will need shipping addresses to calculate each invoice.

Thanks.

From the website...

Orders and Payment
J&S Electronics ships retail orders FedEx COD secured funds. COD orders must be paid for with cashier's check or postal money order. To avoid COD charges, you may pre-pay by personal check. Contact J&S Electronics for exact shipping chrages. Credit cards are not accepted. California residents must include appropriate sales taxes. Foreign orders require pre-payment by wire transfer.

So... it looks like wire transfer, then

What wire transfer when it's at home?

Ooo, I've got an account with XE.com - might come in handy here

Just did a quick check on the usps shipping charge link provided. Here's a table of rates for a three pound package to Sweeden. Extra charges may apply, such as document number. Don't confuse a letter or envelope with a parcel or package. Looks like they range from about $22 to $74. Don't know the cheapest method that still allows tracking.

http://ircalc.usps.gov/speed.asp?dTotalWeight=3&bDisplay=Weight&Length=12 &Width=9&Height=3&Contents=1&Country=Sweden&Pounds =3&Ounces=0&bSecondLoop=True&cmdSubmit=Continue

The site says the shipping address should also include a phone number, and they do not ship to a P.O. Box.

I went to the post office this morning, and the clerk said a three pound package to Sweden by "Express Mail" is $32. This is the same price as shown in the above link for "Global Express Mail". The label does not have a tracking number, but lists an 800 number to call for tracking. The label does have a barcode.

The USPS website says that "Global Express Guaranteed" has online tracking, but costs $62.

UPS (United Parcel Service) rate chart shows $67 for a three pound package to Sweden.

Has the group decided if the funds will be sent individually, or in a lump? We don't take credit cards or Paypal. Perhaps you can arrange this with the group leader, and spread the cost of a single wire transfer, etc.

Payment options are:

Bank to Bank wire transfer. Add $20 bank fee for incoming wire transfer. Your bank will also tack on a fee.

Western Union Money Transfer. Their rate calculator says $43 to send $500 from Sweden from California (couldn't get it to go the other way.)

Bank check or money order sent by mail or courier service. For checks from a foreign bank, include an additional $5 foreign bank fee. Postal money orders incur no additional charges.

To calculate your invoice total, I will need an email from each of you, showing:

Product ordered
Desired shipping method
Desired payment method
Complete shipping address, including phone number

I will respond with an invoice total, and begin building your order. The order will ship within two weeks of receipt of funds.

We have been out of the gauges, but I checked with the machine shop, and we should have them in stock again in two weeks.

If it has not already been organised, I think it may be best for each to send individual payment.

The fast, easy, lowest cost method of payment is by money order, sent by FedEx, etc.

Note that postal money orders do not incur additional bank fees at our end, so the invoice is calculated from merchandise and shipping charges only.

I still need an email from you, showing shipping address, phone number, chosen method of shipping, and payment method.
