I was wondering about the 15 Feb cut-off date - do we need to wait that long? There's a good long list already (at least, of potentials, reasonably quickly ),and it would help Harvey out if it were moved forward a tad...? How about when there's 10 confirmed, or is that a bit pushy?

I assume we are talking about the controller, two channel for me and dual monitor. If not I would like to add the dual monitor to my requirements.
Thanks.

We are out of the gauge shells. The order has been placed with the local machine shop, but it could be a month before we see them.

Aaargh! I hate flood control! It's just wiped out 20 minutes of 'work'! Can't the muppet forum just be ditched instead?

Confirmed for a 2 CH too - sorry for delay, been skiing But I'll also need it shipped individually to Swissieland.

John (@ J&S) mentioned deleting the internal 2 CH MAP sensor and using the car's one instead (in the other J&S 'individual cylinder knock control' post). It would knock another US$45 off the price....and would suit me Anyone else?

i think most of us need only the V.O. option.
what dou you think about?

J&S quote :
Our V.0 option deletes the onbord two bar MAP sensor, and is a basic knock retard box. V.0 option saves $45 from list.

This option requires a connection to an external MAP signal, which is used to arm the knock detector.

The unused boost retard "rate" **** is used to set the knock enable point, with respect to MAP voltage.

I need the spec of the stock MAP sensor:

Key on, engine not running, record MAP voltage:

Apply 10 psi from MityVac hand pump, record MAP voltage.

I can supply the voltages via DeltaDash for my99/00's, and bug-eye WRX's (I must check I have log files) and STi's 7/8.

But I have no data on earlier cars....

That was some of what I was nattering at great length about (the v.0 type) before the 'flood control' hit me...

So I'd be after a v.0 as well, yes! (MY00 so same as others, so far...)

up we go...

Any more confirmations - either way - out there?

So far, we have...

Confirmed
1) Beryllium (confirmed 1/2channel)
2) Denmark (confirmed 1/2channel)
3) Rroberto (confirmed 1/2channel)
4) GDBSTI (confirmed 1/2channel)
5) Konstantin (confirmed 1/2channel)

6) Mr J (confirmed 1/2channel + display)
7) Harvey (confirmed 1/2channel + display)

8) Nom (confirmed 1/2channel v.0)
9) Dowser (confirmed 1/2 channel v.0)

10) Minty (confirmed 4channel)

Interest stated/not confirmed (or not positively anyway)
1) David Wallis
2) P20SPD
3) Pavlo (4 channel)
4) jlanng
5) sg72
6) Tweenierob
7) CataIunya
8) Delboy2 (4 channel)
9) RSVR Racer
10) colin C

So we're up to 10 in the confirmed list, finally!

Possibly time to check choice of the v.0 version & save a little more cash - makes sense to me! Just depends on J&S receiving details on what the voltage outputs are for the factory MAP - Dowser supplying data for MY00/99, bug-eyes & STi 7&8s.
At least, I think that's the case...?[/b]

I want the two channel, but cant use v0 as my ecu has inbuilt map sensor... best be able to cope with 3 - 4bar boost.
