Groupbuy on the 2channel J&S Safegaurd??

thank you Harvey and skassa.i have understood.
it's a strange management to waste a spark each time.
the system cannot advance ignition more than ecu
quote
Charly:
Unfortunately, it can only retard.
On the Subaru, the unit triggers on the falling edge of each ignition pulse.
The rising edge of the pulse turns the coils on, and is the start of "dwell
time".
In theory, we could trigger from the rising edge, and delay from that. The
dwell time is generally fixed at something like 3msec. Dwell time at idle
is usually more, since the idle fluctuates, and it might cut short the dwell
for the next spark.
Assuming fixed dwell time of 3msec, triggering on the rising edge, and
inserting a 3msec delay, would result in stock timing. Inserting a smaller
delay would result in "advance". How much advance would depend on the RPM.
Note that as the RPM increases, the time that it takes the crank to turn 10°
decreases.
So it is possible, just not with this unit.
Thanks for the interest in our system.

is it possible to delude the crank sensor in moving his target,or other "non electronic" way, because i hav'nt a programmable ecu

as you know, the ignition map is the same for kuala lumpour,45°C 89 RON than great britain -10°C 99 RON ,so with the small TD04 ( yes i have, not for long time, but still now ) there is a very important improvment to add advance

Can we have a go at a list, then?
I think most are interested in the '1004-1CH/2CH' normally at $495.00, so the reduced price would be $396, I think... that would be before all & any of the various charges
And I think the list so far of 'interested' - although obviously not confirmed at this point, is:
1) David Wallis
2) P20SPD
3) Pavlo (4 channel)
4) Andy F
5) Beryllium
6) jlanng
7) Denmark
8) Rroberto
9) s672
10) Nom [confirmed]
11) Mr J
12) Tweenierob
13) CataIunya
14) Delboy2 (4 channel)
15) RSVR Racer
16) colin C
17) Jolly Green Monster
It might be handy if everyone could confirm/remove themselves as needed?
Probably also what they are after, the options seem to be growing...
Have J&S specified how this will work? As in, the orders need to be as a lump, or we all contact them seperately, they just want there to be a minimum of 10?
Sorry if I'm confusing things here, but I'm trying to help - honest!

p20spd was a 'possible'
Im only interested if the J&S will work with my ECU and MSD..
Im awaiting confirmation from Autronic.. J&S have been very helpfull though.

Yep David, noticed the 'possible', just thought I'd list him so he could be 'unlisted' rather than forgotten.
Not that such a thing could happen, of course
Why would the Autronics have problems?
And, erm, what's a MSD? Or am I being an utter thicky here (for a change )

it might be a problem because the autronic ecu doesnt control dwell.
MSD ignition.. http://www.msdignition.com/1dis.htm
I use the MSD-DIS2 race version

Nom,
Multiple Spark Discharge.. lots of sparks rather than one..
My understanding anyway, gives a better burn, less chance of blow out of the spark, etc..
Used a lot in US race cars and other applications.. (Like Wallis's Wagon )

Im awaiting confirmation from Autronic..
"Of course you can use individual cylinder knock control, but only if you buy our model XYZ which isn't released. If you use the J&S product we will b very upsaid and tell everyone not to help you."

Hi to all.
David: If you are running waste spark with Autronic and MSD, you will need the 2 channel variant of our 2/3/4 channel unit.
It will be configured for non inverting operation, and trigger on the rising edge of the Autronic's ignition output.
The unit will pass the Autronic's output signal to the MSD.
