Like that... looks spot on...

On another note... as my whats my car worth thread in Scoobynet general has died... https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...ats-worth.html

Anyone like to say there 2 pence worth... you think it would sell at 12.5K when the time comes...? as it is one hell of a car for the money imho...

Can some kind soul with a v4 car (which has the Phase 1.5 engine) please take a quick peek at their coolant temp sensor? All I want to know is whether the connector is brown or grey.

Thank you.

Right then, a DCCD question......

How many of you use it?

With my car I find it very tail-happy in the wet and a bit scary. I find if I move the DCCD one notch forwards from fully open, traction is massively improved in slippery conditions.

However, even just one notch forward seems to result in diff wind-up after only 2 or 3 corners, which I get rid of by pulling the handbrake up lightly. Do I need to unload the diff minute or so or can I leave it for longer?

I use the DCCD like you when its wet. I put it one notch forward. I spun around 180 and ended up on the wrong side of the road one time so now I ALWAYS put it one notch forward when wet. Two notches if there is standing water on the road.

These rear wheel drive cars are scary!

So, how often do you pull the handbrake to unload the diff? I get a significant clunk even after 2 or 3 corners.

never had to pull handbrake. Rarely experience clunking either.

It's been nearly 3 years since I put some pic's on this thread(see 1st page), only a few subtle changes have been made, most of the work unintentionally has been done under the bonnet.

I don't know how you can do it, I'd miss it too much, it was bad enough not driving it when the engine had blown!
