Simon already answered the Question..

Previous owner did take it off as well as taking blue Seats out!

Then again.. If it was still on it'll probably be in bits as my drive is a nightmare to get in & out.

if you remove the bearing and take it to a local bearing suplier (not motor factors) they should be able to match it for you by size i had to do this for my serria rs500 as ford no longer supply them and motor factors give you a glazed look and try and supply one for 1.6l

Raf
Well got it checked out my Scoobyclinic and they've given it the thumbs up...!! the sound i was hearing was that of uprated pistons - which were mis-diagnosed by a local mechanic as the big ends..... so a great BIG THANK YOU TO THE CHAPS AT SCOOBYCLINIC..

Anyway i may still sell but not 100% sure -

I am thinking of upgrading the standard brakes on my Type-R.. what should i go for..? also what cost is involved?

Thanks all

Raf.

I dont think Brembos will fit behind 16s. I think once you fit bigger brakes your choices of wheel goes down dramatically.

I may be wrong but you seem to have a Version 5 Spoiler and no Version 6 lip. The Version 6 had blue seats as well are you sure its a 6??

Not really no, it was sold to me as a v6 and all the service history has v6 on it as well, any idea what model its is as well, ie the roof vent, been told its v- limited but theres no plates inside to say it is
