The Exedy is used on all our middle range: up to 400 bhp, cars and performs well. It comes as a 3 part set [ cover, disc, and bearing ] The AP Racing is cover and disc only at £445.00 and a bearing at a further £62.00., or thereabouts.
The operation of the Exedy clutch is light without any judders and superb grip.
Price of the Exedy is £320.00 normally, or £250.00 on a group buy if you can rustle up five other buyers on Scoobynet.
An APi lightened flywheel is an original that weighs 12.2 kilos reduced to around 7 Kgs which is the official homolgated weight. The Fidanza ones are too light at 4.2 kgs, in my opinion..
An APi lightweight is £150.00 Exchange, OR £120.00 as a group buy.
Fitting can be done here ' while you wait' at £200.00 sometimes on a Saturday for customer convenience.
Good luck call me if I can help you

I've just had an Exedy clutch and lightened flywheel off David, got to say Im very very impressed, as David says, the clutch action is def lighter and there is no judder whatsoever.
I've done 4 "proper" launches, with no problems at all. No slip, no nasty smell.
Perfect!
Mines about 325 - 340 (depending on fueling/ign advance).
(Note to self: Must get my old flywheel back to David!)

It is nice to get feed back from time to time. Just to keep us on our toes.
Good Luck David APi.
PS. soon as we see the flywheel you get you money back. If you miss the end of the month, it'll not show on your statement until the March / April one....
We arrange and pay for collection, so it's up to you.

Sorry to butt in all but couldn't think of a better place to ask the question:
I have just brought a hybrid type R gearbox V5, which will be going into my UK classic. Can anyone tell me what the theoretical top speed is on a type R.
Also what sort of revs are you at, at say 80mph?.
Speeds throught the gears would be even better, but thats asking allot.
Thanks in advance.

How much would you expect to pay for Type R these days? Quite fancy a V5 but wondering how much extra I'd need on top of my existing MY00 UK.
And what differences are there between the 2 (other than engine). I'm thinking of swapping as I'm in the mood for doing some engine mods but feel there's not much point going for big power when I'm handicapped by the UK engine. oh, and I like 2 doors also
TIA.

I've heard prices are on the up.
Mines going to be for sale around June time
On a slighty more serious note... depends on condition, miles, any mods etc etc.
I suppose if you are lucky you might get a V5 for £11k, for one with reasonable miles <50k, good/mint condition, sensible mods etc etc I suppose Anything upto £13k?
