Tesco's and they're fine with mods too.

And no, no one ever sorted out a specialist (cos we are arent we?) club for the discerning scoob owners

Elephant. £50 more than a-plan but a lot less excess to pay. Think it was about £980. Just turned 27, only 1 yrs no claims, everything declared..........2.5?

Didn't think any insurers would entertain a 2.5 conversion(& supporting mods) without "taking your eyes, then comming back for the sockets."

I think your misunderstanding what i was implying....

P.S. New paddle clutch and flywheel in the post. Car should be going into see Gav at Wallace on the 29th to get fitted and alignment done, so with a bit of luck out on the 29th and ready for Aberdeen meet on the Tues, for once!

I know I have a separate thread with the pics on, but felt I really should put my latest pics here for prosperity

Default Can a typeR expert help me?

A mate of mine has a recently imported TypeR V4 Vltd.
Two things which are possibly not right, can any of you lot help?
Firstly it has no central diff control and secondly it has ABS.
Thoughts please and apologies for busting in on this thread.

Thanks, Must admit I did not know that Subaru made a WRX type R let alone such things as Vltd versions.
Anything else to look at ie: sliding rear calipers or 2 pots, alloy bottom suspension arms etc ? Obviously should not have a red top engine

The only reason im asking is because some people are saying its an ra and some an r.
Think i might start a poll and see what wins R or RA

Bonkers!

Anyway, in my books, its a Type R. If you want to call it an RA, it doesnt really matter. Still a top motor!

Actually, if you look on the Ravensblade website, they have an email address incase you have any model questions. Might be worth a quick email and ask if they can shed any light on it?

The RA has 4 doors and the R has two doors, usually if it's a V-LTD model it will have a roof vent and maybe a plaque on the dash although as far as I know, no STi5 Type R V-LTD had plaques fitted.
