When I last checked with Steve Simpson about refitting and remapping a used ECU he mentioned a figure of £250 to refit an ECU and get it mapped properly to your car. So why not have an ECU with a full 12 months warranty and get it new with peace of mind.

But its everybodys choice which route they take. If anybody wants to contact Steve themselves and find otu abotu refitting and mapping I can supply his details by email.

Hi received an email from Steve Simpson.

He has mentioned we need to get moving on sending cheques as GEMS is talking about price increases. So he has authorised me to post his contact details for where the cheque is to be posted and also what information Steve needs.

Hi everyone again.

I have spoke to Steve Simpson again today and We really need to get moving with sending cheques. The people that havent sent them. Steve has confirmed he won`t cash any cheques until he has received all of them so you dont need to worry about him sitting on all your funds. We really need to get this sorted out by the end of the week as Like posted earlier GEMS is talking about a £100 + price Increase. Which if the cheques are in quick then we can avoid the increase.

Steve has also mentioned that he is going to keep the tally on who has paid and who hasn`t. We are then going to add a list to this thread as to who has paid and who hasn`t.

So lets get this thing rolling. We all know we are desperate for Anti lag and safe engines running the correct way.

And all that lovely torque and BHP.

 

Installed and mapped prices including AIT on intercooler as follows:

1.MY93-MY96 4 plug ECU up to 1.2 bar £1200 + VAT
2.MY93-MY96 4 plug ECU above 1.2 bar £1250 + VAT
3.MY97-MY98 3 plug ECU £1100 + VAT
4.MY99-MY00 3 plug ECU £1300 + VAT incl diff controller
5.MY01 > 5 plug ECU £1395 + VAT incl diff controller.
All include ALS, alternate fuel octane map, water spray/inj control.Launch control on option 5.

These prices are for 15 firm orders or above.
10-14 orders add £75 + VAT.
50% deposit with order then balance upon happy customer.
Fitted and mapped at Town End Garage , Carnforth or, if required ,at your place @ £0.15 / mile extra travel cost.
