I think the trick is to build up combos. If you go through the cone gates at a fast enough speed so that the combo counter keeps going up, then the amount of kudos you will get when it finally gets added will be a lot higher than if you go through the gates carefully. If you can get in a few handbrake turns / 360s as well then you'll be laughing.
It goes without saything that when building up the combos, you have to be careful not to hit anything, otherwise all your hard work will have been in vain....

Stingray in the wet in the American Classics
I don't actually think it's as good as GT3 to be honest. Graphically etc is loads better, but as a game I don't think it's quite as good.
IMHO.
Although the 275GTB is pretty cool. As is the Stingray. And the Cobra. And the 911RS. And....

Just finished American Muscle, tedious or what! Terrible cars!!
Didn't see Samsons, do remember donuting outside Dixons and pulling over at Boardwise?? thinking I'd have popped in if it was real - what a sad'o!
Extra Chilli on mine if anyone finds a Kebab shop.
Downloading and watching other peoples replays is cool. But I can't seem to race against the ghost, anyone know how?

Each to their own. I've got both and much prefer Gotham (especially with the Xbox live support). Both excellent games though.
Time attack with the civic type R, I'm now ranked 3rd in the world

Unlock Geometry Wars
First, go to the Kudos World Challenge. From there to the the car select screen. Then go to your garage. Once in your garage, press Y to walk around freely. Walk over the the arcade machine and press A. This will allow you to play the arcade game Geometry Wars, which was created just for PGR 2.

Peter, trust you to post this thread
Have to agree tho, it is far and away the best racing game ever made.
GT3 is sterile in comparison. Very little discernible difference in car handling compared with Gotham. They have captured perfectly the nuances of each car. Try, for example, the focus rs, or the Porsche cayenne, or the differences between sti / evo / skyline.
And the kudos system just adds to the tension and risk/reward.
Truly magnificent.
Can anybody please confirm that the nurburgring track is unlockable on the disk? I originally heard it would only be available for download via xbox live, but if it is on the disk I will wet my pants!!!

Finding this difficult. Got Silvers but real trouble trying to get Golds.
The handling is superb. You can appreciate the difference between the yank tanks and the NSX. I also get two wheen bonus when driving the NSX. Much more acessable than PGR and MSR. Enjoying more as a result.

Yes you can in Ghost challenge. I have it unlocked and the live game with 5 or 6 people in identical cars is great racing.
