You seem to want to do the right thing.....

I would always stick to "honouring" any promise made to someone. If you agreed to sell to somepne then you should eat humble pie and stick with the promise. Imagine Scoobynet if we all became a bunch of shiits......
Unless its for sale to the highest bidder then it should be the first person to confirm they wish to buy it.

And the F1 sold on E-bay for £85 had a plastic strap, this one is St.Steel....

Steve the watch was posted 26.11.03 1st class, if for any reason whatsoever you dont want it, just send it back to me. I will be more than pleased to have it back. We agreed that you pay P&P, well the post was 2 quid, but my excellent packaging was £45.75, cheers.



Ps. Just to let the doubters know, I was offered £120 cash for this watch, by someone I know, no waiting for a cheque, no posting, no ar5ing about. But I sold it to a stranger for £60, sent it to him without payment, and asked him to send me a cheque when he recieves it, if he likes the watch.

I sold an Omega GMT Master II, the same way, I let the lad who made the first bid take the watch (yet later that day was offered more). I didnt know him from Adam, but he took the watch without full payment, then he posted the rest two days later. We were not talkin peanuts this time either.

Yoza , you did the right thing.Its good to know some people keep their word.

I bought a very expensive Genesis amp from a scoobynet member. No waiting for cheque to clear etc he just sent it....

But unless I thought or did know a scoobynet member I would want the funds first.

 

Yoza, sorry for the delay in getting the cheque to you, but about 4 hours after the watch arriving, I was made redundant!!

The dosh will be in the post this afternoon, and I hope you are understanding with the delay.

They've not let me back in the office, so I cannot get your email addy, and I've even had to re-register on here!

I can imagine your panic if you've chased me my email as the account has been shut and it would bounce!!
