My front disks are fitted and looking nice
I've only done 5 or so miles so i've noe real comment.
Anyway thanks to Stormy and Ian for a sucessful groupbuy
BTW, i went for the all new EBC Greenstuff pads, so we'll see if EBC have got it right! If the comments by John Felstead are anything to go by - i won't be dissapointed

Ian. I understand you're busy but can you please contact me regarding my warped disc. I've been trying to get hold of you for ages now and I'd like to get it sorted out.

Cheers.

Tony,
I've got the 335mm kit, with ST2's and they fit fine, are you still using the subaru caliper, or something else??

No..... i got it from a guy who had a P1.

Done a bit of digging and from what i can make out Matt Churchill's kit didn't fit properly with his ST2s at first. Ian then made the alloy bell a bit thicker and so pushed the wheel further out (basically like a spacer). So it seems maybe i have an earlier kit that doesn't have the thicker bell . Just hoping that Ian could confrim this and maybe do an exchange with my bells (that obviously suit P1 wheels and maybe a good few others). Ian heeeeeeeeeeelp please..........

It'd be a lot simpler just to fit thin spacers!! 3mm??

Tony

The first 2 or 3 kits we ever made did have thinner bells and we did find that some wheels did catch , we changed the thickness of the bell by 2mm which cured this problem , yours is an early kit with the slightly thinner bells , the easiest and quickest solution is to fit 2mm spacers , that will get you mobile again , and 2mm spacers will cause you no problems
Cheers Ian

Unhappy

Spacers.... but they look so bloody ugly. The universal ones are a lot bigger than the hub of the wheel so stick out and because they are universal 5/4 stud you can see the holes for the alternative stud patern

How much are a couple of new bells Ian?

£200 a pair , why do think I said about spacers , when the spacers are on you wont see them.

I can have some made for you , they are laser cut from whatever thickness sheet steel I want ,and they are a perfect fit , but it will take a couple of days to get them done

Sounds good to me..... looks like i'll have to get some universal ones today to get me going (bout £7.00 from the local parts place) and then some nice laser cut ones would be great. I'll measure the inside of the wheel so you know the overall outside diameter. I think 3mm would be better than 2mm, give me a bit more clearance?? l'll get some cash off to you for these.... how much Ian? If you prefer e-mail me on toe_scooby@hotmail.com.

Thanks,

Tony.
