This has got to be one of the most rediculous threads I have ever read.

Kippax,

If a supplier ships a product in error, it's his resposibility to re-ship the correct product, and collect the incorrect product, at his own cost.

You made a daft mistake, and didn't check the product you received. A "range" of gauges will always look similar, but there is a big difference between a boost gauge calibrated to read a max of 2 > 2.5 bar, and one calibrated to read over double.

You then proceded to "modify" a "metal" pipe, that is always associated with fuel, or oil, blatantly never looking at the fitting instructions, that would have told you straight away that there had been an error.

Scooby Mania have refunded your money (god knows why) and you're still griping because Mike wouldn't let you have a second gauge at 1/2 price, believing he would still make a profit LOL

Scooby Mania would have gladly paid for their mistake, given the chance, but you want them to pay for YOUR MISTAKE and that's unreasonable.

The more you post, the dafter this looks, and I doubt anyone reading this, will be very surprised if Mike was somewhat reluctant to answer your calls.

Put it down to experience, and let it go.........

Mark.

This really is going nowhere in my eyes, and it has been RTM'd.

I don't want to judge either way as it ain't my role, but I really can't see what else Mike could have done. Hell, even competitors are standing up for him

So, unless anyone complains, I'll lock this tomorrow. The charity auction has had good exposure now!

Cheers,
Nick.

Not soon enough in my opinion, this has dragged on for far to long.

Caveat Emptor as they say.
