Mark I have found the best way to go about getting bits for the car is not to tell the wife unless the bits are highly visable eg spoiler/headlight conversion she doesn't usual notice, if she does notice just tell her they cost a third of what they actualy cost

Try playing the safty card ie the car needs better brakes incase a poor defenceless bunny runs out in front of the car.

I convinced my wife when I bought a 335mm kit for my last Impreza that it would save money in the long run as I wouldn't eat brake discs on track. I was right as well. Bloody good brakes

I paid nearly £500 for mine 2 years ago, ran them for 15000 miles (I think) and then sold them for £350 last month.

Ian any chance of getting a set of vented grooved rear discs and mintex pads for a P1 as a part of the group buy?. Fitted your 335 kit and was amazed how well it stood up to a full track day, very little wear and confident braking, cool.

No they will not fit behind 16" wheels , 17's or bigger , I can offer them grooved and drilled but they have to be the standard size.

Cheers Ian

Ian

Thanks for the advice re VAT.....I stuck a stamp on the envelope and stuck it in the "post" basket at work. I have managed to retrieve it as post stays there for ages sometime.

If you get an envelope which looks a bit mangled and held together with sellotape don's worry

Hello Ian,

ive got a MY95 wagon uk turbo, Its got later wrx 17" wheels on.
Will the brembo calipers and 325mm discs got straight on?
Its the kit a bolt on? or does it require fine tuning with washers/spacers.

Will this offer be continuing after the new year at all?

best regards

Hi *****

Yes the kit is a bolt on kit with no modifications needed to the car , and will fit behind your wheels , the group buy is open till the end of November.

Thanks for the speedy reply,
So what components are included with the kit?
And what spec can the discs be ordered in?

The kit includes

1 pair of Red Brembo 4 pot calipers
1 pair of discs with alloy bells
1 pair of alloy mounting brackets plus all mounting hardware
1 set of Ferodo pads
1 pair of braided hoses

You can have the discs grooved , drilled or both , the choice is yours at no extra cost , but if you are going to do track days the discs could crack around the holes so I would go for grooved only , The discs have a 12 month warp guarantee even if you do track days

The kits costs are

308mm kit is £675
325mm kit is £775
335mm kit is £875

Delivery is £10

Hope this helps

Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian,
It helps,
I`m undecided now as to which size....
I used to have Hispec 310mm and 4 pots on a Pug 206, They where good but I didnt think much to the anodised finish.

It had just grooved discs.

I know that I should go for the biggest but its the christmas looming thing.

Can I mail you directly?

Best regards
