I am going to have a spare unpainted new steel face lifted bonnet.

I wont send it as they just get damaged, so if anyone is near london, and wants to come collect, then let me know.

 

When you say there still getting made do you have any idea when they will be shipped out. They must have an idea

 

There not getting made here as you probably know, getting made in the US somewhere.

I got a phone call yesterday and they still want to get them in before New Year - the Americans have said it will all be done within a month.

Only 4 day delivery though instead of the usual 4 weeks to get here! lol

So even if we ordered it normally, and they had them in stock, would have taken this long to get here.

Should be after Xmas to so everyone should have been paid

Thow do these look on DBM?...carbon boot lids would complete the look though.

Looking back on these posts, money started to get to you on November 20th, there is still no word on a delivary date for these bonnets. Is there any way you could chase up the supplier as this was ment to be delivary before christmas originaly.

 

TYPE-R, you are correct. This did start end of November and they had the bonnets ready for us.

However, as others joined the group buy, they had to make more bonnets. Now i did email everyone asking if its ok to wait so we all get the bonnets together or shall i get them to send over the bonnets first. It was decided we should all wait.

If you want to drop out, thats fine as there are still people emailing me about the bonnets and ive told them to wait to the next group buy.

No ones money has been banked. So if you do want to pull out thats fine and ill send your money back.

Im the only one who has paid it all on my credit card. I should be the one worrying as i will have to pay my credit card bill soon! lol

I am chasing supplier - near enough every day

Even had a go and said its been long now so lets look at bringing some of them over (or how many has been made) so that people who were in the group buy in the beginning can get their goods!

And so i can start banking some cheques cause its nearly time to pay credit card

Im still trying to find out how many are made! lol Cant be long now!!! Order was put in before break for Xmas and they said a month to be made so must be nearly there!

Right, emailed the manager now and the director explaining how pissed off i am as they said middle of December it will probably take a month to make, and now its been a month.

Will let you know

As said before, least we get the bonnets in 4 days when they are ready. The original plan was to order middle of Dec, and then take 4-6weeks to get here for the cheaper option so wouldnt have been here till mid to end of Jan.

 

Right update

Basically having rows with the supplier! lol. Apparently they have 5 carbon bonnets ready and are still waiting for their other bonnets which could take 2-3 weeks. So im not happy

Have spoken to the manager now and asked to send the 5 bonnets across asap and awaiting their reply.

So 1st 5 will be:

6. Ticky - money received

I will be the last person to take the bonnet.

Hope this is ok with everyone and if anyone wants to change places (ie so i dont bank their cheque yet) then thats fine.

I wont be banking anything yet as i want to make sure we can get these 5 bonnets.
