Finally its here
I must be one of the lucky ones who got my carbon bonnet this morning.
I’ve got it out of the card board box & removed the 3 layers of bubble wrap. I thought about using my original sonic blue scoop & vents but now that I’ve seen it closer I’m not going to bother. The vents & scoop look different in the picture but closer up the look the business.
Quality:
My only concern for now is that there is some white paste in between the edges of the scoop & vents (will wait for other group buyers opinion, comments & see how’s best to remove it)
Also there seems to be some issues with lacquer but will really need to see the bonnet in the open daylight with it on the car. Hopefully by this weekend.
Overall the bonnet looks very good, light & strong. Just need to get it on the car!
Its been a long wait for it but for that price its well worth it, especially when the prices for the aluminum bonnets are properly a lot more plus will need painting & aluminum doesn't look as good as carbon fibre.
I would just like to thank Money again for this organising this group buy & the other group buyers for making it possible.
Thanks Ticky

Im not sure but I think its the main latch that hold the bonnet down, from what I could remember before repacking the bonnet there were 2 bolts screwed into the original locating holes. Unless its something else?
I wont no fully yet as I need to still get some bonnet hinges for mine as the previous ones were damaged when my bonnet flew open.
