The facelift is 1997 on.They will fit but you have to change the grill and headlights.
Whoever is selling a silver one, think of poor old ZippyEFC 1st and i promise to give it a good home

no i want a pre-facelift ie: before the face lift version.
Ive just read back and these are face lift therefore the mods that would need to be done to make it fit would not be worth it.
For those of you that was wanting a ally or stainless bonnet I have found a guy that has a few ally bonnets for sale with grills and scoop etc in silver aparantly? and he can get s/steel ones for £200 inc vents. "brand new"
ive ordered one of those, damn site less bover.
I asked him if he could get more he said yes easy.
his name is mark and he is awaiting a flood of calls for bonnets. lol
so for all you bonnet vultures here you go
his number is: 07949244867
tell him james sent you.
hey i might get a discount doubt it like but i might. lol

Im going to email you all in one min - just writing it out
If i miss anyone out, let me know.
To go facelift (for a pre face lift car) i think you need a grill (got mine for £15 second hand) and later lights (about £100 i think, maybe cheaper)
Dont have to upgrade the grill but looks better

andykidman,
I am finding out next thursday if I can get a facelift ally bonnet.
I alread have a facelift unpainted steel bonnet incase the ally one doesn't pan out. I can let you know if it happens.
Frank, the most important thing when switching to post facelift is that you make up some custom ducting as the prefacelift engine has a slanted intercooler which I believe is further forward and a ducting to the turbo.
The post facelift has different ducting.
Ducting to the intercooler is very important since if it is not cooled properly, you risk higher intake temps and then det, so be careful if you convert.

1. Money () - got my own money
2. Tweenierob - money received
3. Goldeneye - money received
4. Reas334 - money received
The later bonnet does fit to the scoop if you have the slanted intercooler with no probs. Matey was running around his for 8 months with no problems.
And will you vultures wait! lol. There will be plenty of bonnets when we receive the carbon bonnets! lol
