30th.. nice one! praying for dry weather, my Scoobs boots are naff.
will prob be somewhat slower through the tighter corners - but judging by current performance may make up some good ground othewrwise (pulls very strongly now and its not remapped yet )
will prime the g/f for the end of the month then!
oh and Marv, despite working on the edge of Derby i don't know where the McD's is, but i'm sure i'll find it!

Kev - I'm sure you'll find the start point m8 but I'm sure some IT wizz on here can post up a map thread (??)
No one should get lost - I've even got colour maps for most people, certainly enough for two to each group of 3 0r 4 cars!!

Kev - still working on the dry weather m8 but can't promise anything !!
To reiterate tho - this will be good wet or dry, it'll just be even more testing in the wet !!
HE WHO DARES WINS !!

Marv,
Great starting place. Only about a mile for me to travel again
I bet it was your kids idea to start at McSalmonella's
I don't belive that you won't be washing and polishing your car before this either.

Well Marv,
If you can't sort the weather, what the hell are we employing you for ?
I have dropped my tyre pressures a couple of psi, which seems to have improved things and I will re-adjust my rear anti-roll bar to the midpoint to try and dial out any understeer in the wet. But, I'll leave that 'til the day - it may be dry

Ok Kev - I'll put you in one of the slow groups m8 !! Just so you're not worried about wet or inclement weather (only joking pal !!) It'll be good no matter what the weather - it will just put a different slant on things !!

Welcome aboard Jap STi3 - start point is easy to find but no doubt there will be a Long Eaton pre-meet so would be easiest for you to meet us there - same place as Long Eaton mini-meet (although it wasn't so mini !!) at 0930.
ATTENTION all Long Eaton pre-meeters - 0930hrs Milestone !!

Marv,
i'm always up early m8, 04:30 every week day! worst thing about that is you've gotta wait 4 or 5 hours for everyone else to catch up.

Just out of interest - anyone strongly object to a Jag XJR tagging along?
It belongs to a colleague (fairly enthusiastic about cars), he was very helpful in taking me to pick my car up from you know where on three separate occasions.
My guess is that it is unlikely that he will do, despite his interest. But I thought it'd be worth seeing if anyone objected or advised against it, with particular consideration to the route/roads.
