Funny argument, like being back in the playground . I had an Audi 80 audis are good. Parents had a bmw, it was good. I bet your average driver would be able to drive both these cars quickly with zero skill. 4wd or electric aids, bascially makes me think nither of these can be called sports cars, should be classed 'fast luxury'.

If i'm ever in the market (won't be for a few years yet, far too poor) i'd go for the audi purely because M3's are either generally seen pottering round town centres with a sub going mad in the boot or driven by 50+ haggard fake tan women, i wouldn't want to associate my self .. Audi just say's nothing more than Successful

Makes me laugh when people associate certain people with certain cars. Everyone assumes M3 drivers are either old or just total tossers. Some no doubt are....that's there problem. But don't tarnish everyone with the same brush.

I certainly don't fit the above criteria. I'm "hopefully" not seen as a tosser and at 24 I'm certainly not an old M3 driver. I actually swopped my STI 8 with ppp for an E46 M3 Conv' a few weeks back and it's the best thing I ever did. Don't miss the scoob one bit and find the M3 much nicer and rewarding to drive. The point being I'm happy with my choice....others may not agree.....do I care.....no! I have what I want and hopefully they have what they want.

Brother has an S4 I personally prefer my M3........he likes his S4 better. Both have great cars in my opinion and we're both very happy for it.
