I was only stating i thought we were going on a spirited run. And the day my car gets stuck behind a impreza the day it will go sorry but true. Even the condition it is in now it had no problems with a 320 bhp P1 god help you all when new engines in.
Jase why woulnt i turn up ??? I see you lot declined a trip to the ring for a proper driving experience. Well peccys taken the challenge suprised everyone else hasnt followed suit as usual lol.

j-p-h.. just so we are clear the challenge(the ring) was not declined by myself and i am sure i speak for the others when i say this through fear or the thought that we would be out of our league but purely on my part from a cost and time aspect..
if however come nearer the time things have changed i would love to go but am not able to commit myself at the mo..just so ya know!!
my comment about "if you turn up" was based ,probably onfairly so,on the text book hero's and stat wafflers that spout alsorts of crap ,wind everyone up, and have absolutly no idea what the meets are all about,,they know who they are,,sorry to tar you with the same brush mate..but i know come the meets half the posters who say they will..don't..FACT..I PERSONALLY AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOURSELF AND YA MATES FOR A GOOD LAUGH! ..I'LL SEE YA THERE AND AS USUALL AFTER I'LL BE AT THE BAR..GETTING THE ALE IN!

I understand about the ring but it is a year away and would only cost £100 hopefully you can make it if your situation changes.
I no im the only person with a cossie going to turn up from this thread but i may have 2 or 3 from the owners club in tow with me nothing daft just stage 1's etc. Im looking forward to meeting you all i think my humour on here though some people dont take or see it like that it's the sort of banter me, peccy and tim have but not everyone takes it that way lol.
It was more a joke saying id get rid of my car if i got beat the way it's running at the minute i may have problems just wish this new engine would hurry itsself along but i'll still be there. Just been out in it and i can get through the misfire if i gently go throughh it not foot to the floor still got to a 100 pretty quick though. I had it against my old scoob a while ago and it chewed it to pieces and that could keep up with peccys when it was fully decatted but not the tek 3 so i've got some hope. My new engines going to be a bit silly so will be unfair to compare to standard scoobs so looks like i'll have to upset peccy
I'll go carting on a weekend as theres no work and early starts if you arrange it for then.

I Never said the Scooby beat the cossie.. I said it kept up around the track.. Some of the high powered cossies pulled away on the straights but the scooby pulled it back on the corners. I know this cos Nick in the white saphie (topcat racing) & his passenger told me. I darn't say yay or nay to the ring mate cos I don't know what car I will have next year, I get board with cars very quickly... Not board with the scoob yet though. Still like the Escort Cossie & the Evo. But probably go down the same road as Peccy n get the STi Type r !!

Cu on the sunday run it'll be such a pleasure i,ve planned the route through mainly 30 zones sometimes having a sneaky run upto 40 so the drivers can get a bit of excitment.
Dont bite my head off this time it's only a bit of fun on a forum.
