i think a wrx of similar year would compare much more favourably to an evo 7 rather than a uk model (bar the p1), or even better a type r/ra.

for me an impreza looks better (not just saying that) and deffo sounds better. they're also more affordable. i do like evo's but even if they were similarly priced i'd choose a sonic blue type r over any evo i've seen.

Had an evo 6 an absolute bullet but the servicing costs are just stupid.

every 4500 miles for the ayc fluid and the correct levels setting by the dealer. Will stick with my sti8. alot more sensible and the wife loves me again.

Sh** where's the nearest evo dealer.

Still a fabulous car... Would like a go in the evo 8 just to compare.

Changed my STi7 for a an Sti8 in the summer, what prompted me was visiting local mitsi dealer and seeing a new evo8. Once I'd got the change the car bug it was only a matter of time.

However went back to a scoob because:

1.The local mitsi dealer is a muppet and I was scared my car would be ragged up and down the road every 4500 miles
2.Better Partex Subaru to Subaru
3.My opinion, but i think the scoob looks better. (The evo6 was the nicest tho')
4.The scoob is more recognisable, meaning i dont have to engage in traffic light grand prixs with 330 bmws to prove a point.
5.Standard tracker, Head unit, and lower list price.
6.Insurance

I would love an AE86! However - I could not find a decent one in this country or a decent importer to bring me one over. (It would have to be the 86 Panda - the best looking and sounding of all of the 86 range - and also the one that Fujuwara Tufu shop uses!) If anyone can help me with finding one - or has one for sale than I would love to know! Super drift action RWD style - somthing I really miss!

Really pleased that someone else knows about my anime obsession!

I can agree with all but my nearest mits dealer is york {North Yorkshire.} and was topping nearly £30,000 for a new evo.vII.Ive ordered a new sti for march with ppp and 18 inch alloys on for £3500 cheaper, insurence is cheaper too so thats made my mind up.Still the evo is quicker FQ says it all!
