Staffs / Shrops area - who are you?
#31
Hi Guys,
I am a new guy in the area. Collected my brand new STI8 in Mica Blue on 18th October and then 7days latter went to the Nuffield in Clayton(Stoke) to have my left ankle ligament reconstructed putting me out of driving for up to 6weeks min. Managed to get the 1000 mile done as i went in for the op on the Monday a week after collecting it. How p***ed off am I!! Missed out on WRC today and had to sit at home watching awful TV coverage. Be good to meet up when driving again. Live close to loggerheads about 15 mins drive, in my old A3 1.8Tsport!!! Maybe a bit quicker now me thinks...

Alright chaps
Have Scoobies found a way of breeding in Stone?!!
I am currently living in Stafford (for past 2 years), but have to drive through there quite a lot. Since being in Stafford have owned a Gti-R (Yes, black!!), a Punto GT and a Clio Sport.... but got fed up of things breaking and generally just being slow (Gti-R was just a bit embarrasing!), so decided to buy one of the best sounding cars there is!
Ordered a MY03 WRX (WR Blue) after Wales Rally GB, picked it up Friday just gone, and it is booked in for its 1000mile at 08:30 Sat Morning!!
Someone please organise a meet, because I would like to see who else is about.

It was always nice to scare the hell out of bikes at the lights (catching them unaware), then pulling up next to them at the next set of lights and them enquiring as to what the hell it was!!! .....major grin!!
Actually thought about buying another, but figured an 03WRX with PPP is faster and more reliable. Plus, less explaining to do!!
