So, what will actually happen on the day then? Does an operator drive my car on the rolling road? Anyone care to share information for a thickie

The operator will drive the car on, then take it up through the gears into third or fourth. Take the car to the max power which is usually around 6500, and thats it, then you get a print out of the power curve. Some do three runs.

Ooooh, I do hope Im not disappointed Wouldnt it be terrible if you went there thinking your gonna top 300BHP and you come out only touching 200 or something.

Better to know if it's under-performing though innit? Don't worry, as long as your not getting blown away by rep-mobiles and hot-hatches, I'm sure it'll be fine! Anything over 208bhp and I'll be happy anyway.

Karen - you'll be fine Most are pleasently suprised! It is kinda scarey though, but something you definatly have to do at least once so you have a nice power reading from your car Also useful for fault finding as the guys listen to the cars and if there's any doubt that it'll be damaged they won't run them

So c'mon the rest of you, get those cheques in and I can book it
