Does not allow multiple log in - well from the same IP address anyway. Can one of you try logging in and tell me if you get the following error message:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Prepared statement '(@P1 nvarchar(50))SELECT * FROM Auctions_login WHERE Alert_ID = ' expects parameter @P1, which was not supplied.

Might also be better to find out who wants which areas and arrange two or three buys accordingly? As I said in my mail last night, fifteen quid to save ten grand sounds like a reasonable investment!

I'm a bit more general really - 5 counties TBH!
However, upon looking through the Auction catalogues, most of them are around the price we have been expecting, and there are no "bargains". Oh well, good source of information though regarding upcoming Auctions, and having been to one already, never expect to pay the buy price, expect to pay between 10-30% more. Therefore if you can get the opportunity to buy before the auction, I strongly recommend you go down this route. I know we will be.

I dont suppose anyone saw that tv prog last night with the couple who bought 2 houses through auction without doing any backround checks and not even seeing the houses, and decided to renovate into one. They were total amateurs and everything they budgeted for was at least double what they thought it would be. They decided to do everything themselves including the designing and the ensuing calamities made good viewing.
Niave doesnt come close to describing them.
They did make an £18k profit tho, this was due to the prices going up not work carried out. In short if the prices didnt go up (which they dont seem to be now) theyd have lost money on the project. We were told by the presenter that theyd have made this anyway even if they didnt do anything with the houses. The time and effort involved was way above what they expected, and i didnt hear anything about capital gains tax or estste agent fees in the prog either, so it can be assumed another few k can come off the 18.

A house is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I've started countless thread on Property Developing as I hope to get involved in it but I got the same negative comments each time. 'The bubble has burst', etc, etc. The bottom line is house prices where I live are still increasing naturally and the way I see it you can improve a property to make even more. I intent to turn my flat into a fantastic 'blow your socks off' flat. Its in a nice area, with great transport links, shops, etc, etc. Its spacious with a car port, lovely shared garden, etc. These are the nice things people will know before setting foot anywhere near it. When they walk in and it ooozes pure class they will want it and be willing to pay for it. People do silly things when they set their heart on something!
The best thing is even if I spend a lot of money making the house lovely but can't sell it for profit it really isn't a hard ship living in a lovely well fitted and decorated flat
