Hi guys.Well, I've finally managed to wrestle Phil Hotham's P1 away from him and am getting ready for the April meet (still second Thursday?).
But I am so disappointed I've been unable to sell my immaculate MY99 wagon. Any of your mates/wives/girlfriends looking to take the plunge and get a Scoob?

Think you might be right! Last saw hom tootling down the road in a Welpton's courtesy car - a Rover 400!He's been told the Sti8 should arrive this week. Though that's what they said last week as well...
...is a nice car Dave...it's a bit slow though innit!
PUM, good luck with yer spay job, I know it'll be a top job!
Ads, have you got that thing plumbed in yet?
I have managed to get the spoiler off to fix the captive bolt, car looks mad without one but I'm considering ways of making all the nickable bits (spoiler, scoop, fog covers) snap/pop off, so I can bring 'em in when I go ninnies. Any ideas???

Hi John and no I haven't. I have been in touch with Clifford and Directed about how much and how long these installs should be.
Have had a couple a replies to a post I put up under Security and have a couple of options, including Graham.
Just haven't had time to sort them out yet.

Hello Everyone!
Haven't posted for about a week 'cos I've been busy
I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms
Ads, how's the fmic coming on?
Pum, how's the paint-job going?
Steven, how's the rebuild going?
Bryn, any more pink bits to confess?
Alan, I'll be in touch ref the NBO convoy - I'm sure some of the Hull crew will be up for it so I'll get something organised and liaise with you for a joint convoy again
Big John, what's the weather like up there??????
Still haven't got a downpipe sorted
But I have got some brand new 18" WRC1 wheels sorted at last

Just need to get across to Preston to pick them up and then source some tyres to put on them!
Later
Steve

Hi Ads. Some interest in the Green machine, but nothing better than £7.5K and I not only need more but believe it's worth more. I shall hang in there for a while. Ho hum.
Housquake - it's a bit slow now I've taken all the mods off. Couldn't believe the difference! Now I've got Phil's P1, it makes it seem even slower.
On a scale of 0-10, if the standard Scoob speed/handling etc is 6 and the P1 9, my old beast when kitted out was a very respectable 8.

Steve, rebuild is going slowly at the moment.

Steven - £175 ?????

Remember the conversation we had when you came through to the Hull meet about how you managed to barter someone down from about £1500 to £700 for something??? Well, with that in mind, how's about £75 ???????

Would it fit straight on my car? Or would I need a 2 1/2" bore?
