Engine Load is directly proportional to MAF/RPM.

DD reports this parameters for certain ECUs (it is available for the 2.0L UK STi for example, but not for the 2.5L USDM Sti).

You can calculate the Engine Load by:

Engine Load = MAF * 120 / RPM

The calculated value will have a small error as the MAF & RPM values are not logged at the same time instance, but this error should not exceed 2-3% (I have compared the calculated to the logged value and the error amounts to that).

The parameters that I think you need to datalog are RPM, Manifold Absolute Pressure, Intake Air Temp, MAF, Injector Duty, Throttle, Ignition & Knock Correction, Advance Multiplier (if available), and Air/Fuel Corrections. Fuel Pump Duty may also be helpful to verify that the pump is using 100% duty at high loads.

The O2 sensors used on the Subarus (at least the European models)are both narrowband, thus offering limited information as to how rich the car runs (they read up at 12.+ AFR when the car can be actually running 10.+ AFR). You can use an external wideband lambda (such as LM-1) to get accurate AFR readings of your car.

To measure Boost use the Manifold Absolute Pressure parameter; the Relative Pressure maxes out at about 1.27 Bar (18.4 psi).

Morning All I'm back

Hope you all had a good Chrimbo and New Year. Thanks to those who turned up at our New Year's Bash and hope you all enjoyed it . Oh and apologies for my chunder antics - I put it down to a mixture of alcoholic beverages, the fact I was ill and full of medicine, the cigar I had (despite having given up smoking), and last but not least, the Absinthe

Does anyone want a set of wheels the same as mine? £700, wheels only no tyres. Never been on a car but have had tyres fitted at some point in the past so there's a few tiny marks around the rims, but not noticeable. 18's.

Or a set of ST2's in dark anthracite?

Filfy - if you speak to Ian tell him I can get the RB5 wheels for £200 but ideally they'll need refurbing.

Also Eibachs, full Scoobysport exhaust, quickshift, Prodrive ECU etc etc.

None of the stuff for sale is mine - it all belongs to the guy I bought my wheels off. He's selling his Scoob so the mods are for sale also. He emailed me to ask if I wanted any of it or if I knew anyone who would want it.
