Trying a new gasket on me DV to see if that sorts problem before taking it out and sending it back, car stalling now 'coz tickover is that bad

 

that dont sound to good m8 try re-fitting ya old 1 first to see if that cure's the problem.

Bryn, i would seriously recommend you revert to your standard dumpvalve 1st, hopefully that will confirm wether the Forge one is at fault or not.

Thanks for the offer Scoobymods but unfortunately I am away in the Lake District this weekend.

 

We have removed DV and checked gasket. Gasket appears to be seating fine. Replaced original DV and tested. No sound of escaping air, no momentary lost of boost and car is not hunting anymore.

Now where's that number for Forge?

Was looking bit dubious with the probs I was having, but now it's all sorted I'm as happy as the man who thought that a cat had done it's business on his pie but it turned out to be an extra big blackberry!
