diccy, this sounds daft but give larkspeed a call on anlaby rd. got a quote for 4 goodyear eagle f1's for £360. savoy wanted £121 per corner.
anyone that might be interested i can get rally car engine oil for £30 per 5 litres (usually £42 + vat)fully synthetic 10/60.thats what im putting in my car at weekend.along with all other bits ( pum,ads )

Dick - glad you got sorted with the rims - just in time by the sound of it! Keep an eye on the wheels/tyres/brakes forum - there are often group buys on tyres. Or try mytyres.co.uk or blackcircles.co.uk (or could be .com's?). Cheers for the filter - fitted it today. It was ever so slightly bigger than the one that was in and was very tight to get the airbox lid shut. But I think I got there in the end!! The beers are on me

Glad the filter fitted, thought it would and it was a tight fit in my old bugeye as well. Black circles quote £135 ea for the tyres, best quote I've had so far is Savoy (in stock) at £128 ea thought this was OK. TYP3R these are 225/40/18Z, was the £360 for 4 of these or something smaller, price seems to go up sharply as profile gets smaller - you'd think they should be cheaper as there's less rubber there. Best price I've heard for anything decent this size was with Arron who can get S02s for £113. (Except some very dubious rubber on Black circles at £90, sounds lethal). Does anyone think the insurance will go up?

My home email is dickpalmer@tinyworld.co.uk funnily enough I'm back at Saltend full time (must be mad as I was enjoying the life of leisure) for 6 weeks from Mon 26th to do an alarm handling manual for K1. This'll pay for the new wheels.

so ads you can get the drinks in then m8 as im busy on a friday night.
