Thanks again guys for all the help and suggestions, would be at my wits end without you lot

Have been doing some research and have found thus:

'The ECU learns as we all know, but it can learn to run respectfully with failing sensors eg lambda, MAF, ICV etc and you won't know about these faults unless something goes bang or you make some changes (...like put on blue pulley wheels a DV... ) and THEN, have an ECU reset'.

It may be that my car had learnt to cope with a faulty MAF and when the ECU reset ocurred was listing badly 'cause of said MAF, I think it had this problem when I got it.

So, a new MAF is in order, perhaps I may order a new Lambda also if it may benefit, OR I might look into an ECUTEK (so I can run without Octane Boost), THEN get a new Lambda and have a reset/remap done at the same time.

I know ADS wants a remap, if there is anyone else and we get a group up, d'ya reckon AndyF might come down and 'do' us all?
