I think my MOT runs out on 6th December (which means I've had the Scoob for a year ), so it will need doing in the next couple of weeks. Best get myself to Big John's then eh?
Housequake - nice to hear from you again! I thought you'd deserted Scooby-ownership as I haven't seen a post from you for months
You lot wouldn't recognise my car at the moment - it's DIRTY

ScoobyNew, how u doin? Did you say deserted Scoob ownership...NEVER. I love my Scoob more than any pig...and that's saying summat... I would rather paint my bottom blue than be scoobyless... I wouldn't want to get rid of it as much as I wouldn't want to put my John Thomas in the hands of a lunatic with a pair of scissors... I would etc etc

Housequake - I've seen your show several times over the years and I KNOW you would happily do all of those things (blue **** etc) Are you guys still "performing"? Any dates in Hull in the near future? For those on here that haven't seen you in action it would be a good nite out!!
Ferne - in rubber???? Ahem! Steady on
Pum - when's the East Coast Gumball thing happening?
Buzz - what's this limited mileage rubbish?

Hi Pum,
it's an interesting contradiction ... Jordan's saying they'll still be the main parts suppliers. I've heard from two different sources within Jordans, one saying they'll carry on, the other unequivocally that they won't.
And Welpton's implying (ie tbc) they'll be handling parts.
Hmmm. We shall see.

A joke? pfffft....
I buy Ferne a scoob, she does 4 thousand miles a year for two years. I get her a NEWER one, and what does she do? Nearly 6,000 in 10 months, and thats after the insurance company asked nme how many miles I expected to do and I said 7,000. She's doing it on purpose and trying to blame me
So I'll have to ring them and tell them, I guess... although they don't actually know how many miles the car had on it Shhh!
Sonic ble type R ? I haven't seen one in Hull yet. There is a black WRX with dark tinits and a noisy pipe that regularly drives through Garden Village, but I'v no idea who that is...
Apart from that I'v seen a woman in a silver classic wagon. Not seen many others at all.

Buzz - I shouldn't worry too much about the limited mileage thing on your insurance - it's only to give them a rough idea of the amount of useage the car will get and it won't matter if you exceed it slightly. The only time it would matter is if you said you were gonna do 8k per annum (to get a discount) and then did about 50k (which is what I accidentally did one year ) Like you say, they don't know how many miles the car had on when you bought it
Pum - I'd be up for a run out
So where is Big John's garage then? I might as well get my car booked in for its MOT. And the tax is due this month as well

No he drives a black omega (ha ha) and I've got a silver 01. You mainly see me pootling ('cos that's all you're supposed to do now!) at 30mph down Hedon Road or in JJB's car park.

On the way to work this morning down Beverley Road and noticed a silver classic in my rear view mirror. Got to a pelican crossing and the lights went red so I pulled into the inside lane so the other scoob would pull alongside, which he did. Looked across to give a smile/wave/nod but the guy never once looked my way, just sat there with his eyes fixed straight ahead and sped off once the lights changed.
Miserable git
Anybody got any plans for the weekend??
