Adam555 - yep you need one, I have the top of the range Snooper with GPS and radar detector. The trouble is that once you have been notified that you have a laser tracked on, you only have 0.75 seconds to reduce your speed, as it can read your speed in around 0.75 seconds.

Gatsos can be seen, but mobile speed checks using laser guns are harder to spot. With a laser diffuser it allows you more time to rectify your speed. IMHO

I think you need both, probably the diffuser is more important.

My best price was £240, I am sure that someone can source them cheaper. Just waiting for someone to come back with a better price.

Question

What do those pesky camera vans use? Is that laser? Do they work against those?
If so then I would be very interested in one. Not sure where you could fix one dicreetly at the rear.

I've emailed that shop in the US, but no answer as yet.... I'm on my hols soon so will probably miss out on this buy.

I'd also need a much lower price for 2.

Everybody including myself wants it as cheap as posss, I thought someone was in the trade who could supply them....

£175 seems the best, and with the best test results.

Yeah - needs to be under the £400 mark for two - i think £350 is ideal if the guys in the states can do anything.

Carriage shouldn't be that much as I don't think they'll be heavy, and shouldn't take more than a few days to arrive.
I'll have a look for other US retailers too.

Does anyone know if US kit will detect UK laser devices?

I have emailed scoobymatt who posted yesterday saying that he could do us a good price.

he said he would see what price he could get on 10units when he posted. i asked him to see what prices he could get on a vareity of unit orders up to 50.

hopefully he can sort something out,

I purchased a RMR C212 from licencesaver.com about 12 months ago, it is the biggest waste of money ever!
Whilst it detects laser, it does not jam or diffuse it as claimed, the review in ukspeedtraps.co.uk stated that it's replacement would not work in the UK as they were only made for the US market. Before any 'Buy' is made, I would recommend the reviews on www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk arechecked out.

The Blinder M-10/UK TWIN has a good review,

"Can we recommend it, Well..... YES, we can. It works well. "

Just phoned avoidfines.com

And the bloke said that if we were to order 50 then the price would be around £180. But, he did say stock was a problem and he'd find it hard to get that many quickly.

Certainly a good deal, and will be worth somebody contacting him about this.
