it seems to be the only one which only alerts you to the existence of traps (at the moment gps loctaed but hopefully radar and laser too) when you are exceeding the speed limit.

It can easily be moved between cars.

Its is cheaper.

It looks better.

it is smaller and presents more info to the driver.

It can interface with a laser jammer.

Has anybody managed to actually buy one from this guy yet? I phoned on Monday and just got his answerphone so left a message and sent an e-mail (no reply),phoned again Tuesday and after four attempts (answerphone) spoke to him but he was unable to take my order and asked me to phone back Wednesday, phoned back Wednesday and was told that he had run out of units so could I phone back today when he would have some more in so tried again today and first three times got his answerphone, the forth time somebody answered without speaking and hung up! so tried again and phone was off again! Does not inspire me withconfidence if a unit developed a fault and had to be returned!

yes, I have had two.

no problems at all.

also spoke to him yesterday, and just rang him about getting a fitting kit for the 22B, £75 instead of £100.

Before you buy check out Costco. Bought the Bluei at Chrimas and think it's bulky, badly made but worth every penny each time I manage to slow down for a camera / black spot.

In Sept to Oct they're having various a 1 week promos and in mid Oct you get get a Blue 2 for £199 + vat; far cheaper than this post, and you can get a refund if it doesn't work (I'm on my third, albeit replaced by the factory).

for that money, I may as well buy a second one for the second car, instead of buying a second fitting kit.

You sure on that price?

sounds too good to be true!

Costco B2 has a diffrent gps unit its intergated into the base. I have been told that it is the same unit as the current b2 but in black.
at £234.99 it represents v good valve

the offer is between Nov 10th and Nov 16th

I do not know if the will have them in staock before these dates?

this make about £100 saving on the current best price but you have to wait 6 weeks

hope this helps

checked with costco.

the unit they ave is the bluei, the original origin product which is far inferior to the b2.

They currently have it for £299 plus vat and the promotion is on this item.

No where near the functionality of the b2, and much bigger.

Costco have always done the Blue i which is the GPS only one that has been around for a couple of years now.

They will soon be having the b2 in, and it will be on offer as David N posted, between those dates: £199 + VAT.

After this normal price will be £249 + VAT.

Just to confirm the b2 is GPS with a laser sensor, will have an optional link up to LRC100 and also a radar detector to follow.

Costco will NOT be doing the B2 in their coupon offer.I spoke to one of the automotive purchasers at Costco a few weeks back and he told me the unit they will be selling is the Bluei but will have the laser functionality of the B2.I've looked on the web and can't find the bluei with laser addon but this guy said that Costco are having them specially made.......
I have the pdf file which I printed. Will try and scan it and upload it to my webspace. This is from the horses mouth so is not speculation!!!!

Cheers

Nick

P.S: I'm probably gonna buy on next week!!

Nick

Edited to say sorry to dial up users as the scans are around 800kb in size each (Partly the reason why I didn't put em into this thread!!) lol
