thats exactly my problem..
Still, if this Nigerian chap who's e-mailed me tonight comes up with "the goods" as promised, then I'll be rolling in cash soon
Please promise not to tell anyone else, he asked me not to but I trust you..

ive managed to dig this out on my computer....
it was a dyno run she did on a hot day last summer at g-force (which seems to be the dyno of choice on the mlr now)
the figure (298.1) is the POWER AT THE WHEELS! g-force use a transmission loss calculation of multiplying (or dividing, i can never remember) of 0.74, to give the flywheel figure.
this was BEFORE the new djetro ecu thingy, battery relocation kit, exhaust and a few other bits. the car is considerably stronger now.
so in essence, shes all go AND show! she doesnt just LOOK pretty, she's a seriously quick car and if she doesnt sell on scoobynet, im going to get her dyno'd when i get back off holiday (for an even better figure without doubt),and get a magazine feature done on her.

A fantastic car (Even though I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that!)and although it sounds a litle "sad" a good post to read.
There were comments about this not being a members gallery, however we all like to see pictures don't we? If I owned this car I would plaster pictures of it everywhere. It has obviously been a labour of love, I am amazed that anyone would want to sell it..........
Best of luck anyway, I will get back into my Citroen Xsara (Diesel) and will carry on dreaming. My Scoob went two years ago and I still find myself coming bback to this site.
Regards,
Dogman

cheers dogman. over 3k views and six pages, gonna keep the thread going till i go on holiday or till she sells, whichever is sooner. i appreciate its a lotta dough to find for a car not bought from a dealer (finance etc etc), but i think she's a bargain (for all the stuff that comes with it), i really do.how much would a dealer sell a car like this for
boro
im asking £21995. ive turned down a 20k offer twice, it will take better than that to get this car. i doubt anyone will find a better allround evo than this. i never said no offers, but not 2k below what i think is already a more than reasonable asking price.

Scott / Spudgun!
Have sold the Beemer.! Yehaaa! Quite frankly now I have the money in my hand and considering I have lost money once again. I am not sure what I wana do at the moment. Have lost interest in cars altogether at the moment. Might buy myself a cheap hack for the minute and re-think what I wana do later.
Love your motor spudgun and I am seriously tempted, but would need to raise additional funds, which wouldn't be a problem just take some time (few weeks). However the only thing that holds me back, is I have lost sooooooo much on cars chopping and changing the last year/two. I don't wana buy another car I will enjoy for a while decide to sell and have problems selling it at the price I want and end up selling it to a dealer for far less than I would want.
Havn't written it off but I am keeping my options open. Will be in touch once I have decided what the **** I am going to do.
