Im trying my best to sell the P1 asap so i can put a wad of cash in your hand. Have sorted my insurance and measured the garage to make sure she will fit next to the Z4. I was offered a p/ex against an EVO7 yesterday but its not a scratch on your 6. Dont really know a lot about EVO's, all that FQ300 and Extreme models. Not a great lover on the new shape to be honest.

hi scoobyp1
are you trying to sell your car on here too?
i personally dont think theres many evo's in this country that are a patch on mine full stop imho! not only does it have the oomph provided by one of the most renowned evo tuners in the country, its a black6 (my fave) and its got an interior by one of the best known car modifiers/retrimmers in the country. with the money ive spent on this car in the past 18months( i ahve all receipts), i couldve had an evo7 AND a standard black 6 parked at my house but like you, im not a fan of the 7, its an aquired taste i spose (look at their residuals) i'd rather have my modified 6

RC are in work on saturdays, their number is 01606 786706. jenny is more than happy to discuss this car with anyone interested. that way anyone can find out more about the car, and not feel obliged or put under any pressure by me

to all interested, one drive of this car and you will want it.i guarentee it

To be honest i havent put the car on here properly, just a little ad. The threads disaapear so fast these days that it could be 3 pages in before anyone notices it. Have advertised it locally, usuall tyre kickers and test pilots though. Ive even offered it to the new Subaru dealership thats opened up in Swansea and they didnt even know what a P1 is. God help them.......
Ive seen some EVO VII's that i quite liked but i think its very similar to the Subaru. Its also lost all aggresiveness from its looks. Fingers crossed for the weekend, Hopefully someone will make me an offer and i can switch sides then and drive an EVO....

thanks P1 scooby

scoobydoo
yes mate, jamie did the interior. they actually feature my interior on the carisma website in their gallery(www.carismaautomotive.com). even things like the a,b and c pillars have been retrimmed in leather(theyre usually nasty grey plastic). the emboidered logos stitched into the seats cost a bomb, but were worth it. theres nothing i dont love about this car. ive tried to get rid of every red bit in the engine bay, just to keep in with the silver black and blue colour scheme.
the exterior is pretty much standard apart from the custom evo badges i had made and the E7 wheels, evos dont really need body kits. the E6 logo on the boot was also done by carisma, and its the same colours as the ones on the seats.

basically, this car has had no expense spared, i set a budget of around 20k for her. i just cant spare the time on her these days coz of work etc
she's not been featured in a mag yet, aint had the time to do it, and if it were me buying this car, thats the first thing i'd do, a nice spread in banzai or summat.

Not before me scoobyp1. That is if I could sell mt M3 Evo.!! Which is looking a bit doubtfull at the moment. Can't afford to give it away to a dealer, and therefore I am going to have to be tormented for a while.!

Spudgun, just to torment me more.! What is the paintwork like on the leading edges of the rear arches and front splitter/bumper. i.e stone chips. Evo's are a magnet for stone chips due to the bodykit, and black is the worst colour for picking them up. How does your car fair ?. Do you leave polish behind in these areas due to the minor chips you can pick up?.

scoobyp1

www.gtr.co.uk its the skyline equivalent of scoobynet

www.lancerregister.com otherwise known as the dark side, home of the best jap cars, and the evo eqivalent of scoobynet
on the mlr, you can post pics in your thread without having to use daft uploaders etc etc. try your sale there too, you never know

rob
you use a different name on the mlr?

hi rob

well at the end of the day, she's a four year old black japanese car, so yes, she's gonna have stonechips. are they bad? nope, dont even notice them, if it were bad i'd have sorted it. the way i looked at it, if i were a buyer, i'd rather see some stonechips, than buy a car thats had a respray at the front end. although innocent, it may make a buyer suspicious i.e a prang at some point, if you see what i mean.
i will try and take some close up pics of the front this week, and you will see for yourself what good condition she's in

Thanks for reply!. I would have been suprised if there wasn't any. Any car that has done 20K + miles will have them, and as you say any car that hasn't has been resprayed and then you have got to start asking yourself why ?. Sounds like it is very, very clean, and if it were purchased and used often as the car should. It will pick some more up. But then think about getting it painted every other year.

I am fussy when it comes to paintwork. White cars are far more fogiving when it comes to stone chips, but then they also show up any resprayed panels, unless and paintwork has been done by a good professional.

In short - basically I trying to confirm to myself, white is my fav colour for a 6, due to the more forgiving nature for chips for an every day car. Any cars I own are used, come rain or shine! So i do have to think about these things.

A close up pic of the front would be nice if you post or mail it to me. I have ADSL some don't mind if its a big file

no probs rob, i'll probably take some tuesday (gotta take my dog to the vets for his kennel jab tomorrow night), and post 'em.
at the end of the day, black is a **** to keep clean and shiney, everyone knows that. but by god, when its clean, imho, nothing looks better, especially on a 6 (imho).
personally, i hate red or white evo's. its a personal preference thing. skylines and integras look good in white, but evos...hmmm, not so keen. horses for courses

will sort you some pics as soon as i can, in the meantime, if theres anything else you wanna know, just let me know.

having re-read your last post....
if your fave evo colour is white....why the hell do you want mine!
there are plenty of white ones around, for less money than mine(though nowhere near as good). you SURE you want a black 6

For those who are interested......

Leigh was kind enough to take me out in Bess today for half an hour of fun and fastness!!

I must say I was highly impressed, I have seen his car around for a while, and always thought it to be of a high standard visually, but it is such a COMPLETE car in every aspect it takes your breath away.

I have just bought an Evo4 for my other half to go with my R34GTR skyline, so I have a fair idea of what constitutes a fast car, and Bess has this in spades. Fast, secure, and amazingly useable, we accelerated from around 25mph to 125mph in fifth without changing gear, and I have to say my mondeo ST200 wouldnt have kept up in the lower ranges and my skyline would be hard pushed once she came on boost (which is phenomenally quickly - almost zero lag).

As I said to you today Leigh, the car is a credit to you, I would buy her tomorrow if my liner hadnt swallowed twenty grand already this year, and if no-one buys her thats worthy then keep her for another eight months and I will have her next year. You know I would be able to afford it

Good luck with the sale, and if anyone wants an independant person perspective feel free to mail me at james@gtr.co.uk.

Best Regards.

J.

Cool

good morning all

gonna try and take some more pics tonight (close up for rob of front end etc) plus others. hopefully it dont p155 down. i will put them in the for sale bit of mlr forum until someone can kindly put 'em up in this thread for me pics should be up around 9pm tonight. one of the nicest bits about the interior is the blue alcantara rooflining, but it never really comes out well in photos, spose i gotta try and get the angle right. never said i was an ace photographer

oh, and buy this car and save yerselves some money on a naff flamer kit. this car does it for real on the overun everytime if anyone genuinely interested in buying this beauty is interested in coming to essex for a look this sunday, let me know, so i can organise my day off. i wont sell for 20k, so i'll put it in topmarques if no-one comes up with a sensible bid here, no probs
