ok, i'm gonna put my name down for this one despite the risk of missing it (like that last few recent meets).
the car has finally, after 14 weeks and 2 engine builds, gone back to the garage and they are estimating a job completion date of next week (fingers crossed... again!)
so all being well, my STi III powered rex will be back in time for this meet.
How about meeting at the Master Locksmith, next to the Derby UCI cinema? Its a nice pub with an abundance of parking and serves good food from what i can remember (previous Scooby meet).

If anyone is interested, i am doin a little errand fo a mate from work, he has asked me to pop up to loughborough to give a ride in my scoob to a lad with muscular distrophy called Jamie,
he is scooby mad apparently.

i just think it'd be better if scoobySTI/WRX was either on his own or accompanied by loads of us. 2 or 3 cars turning up would be a bit naff.. and heh, Loughborough ain't a million miles away. plus there'd be a huge variety of different models for the lad to look at!
