Surely barrier deadlocks can't be bypassed without making a real mess?

Exclamation

Just spent the last 30mins reading through this thread....
All quite worrying for me as im a scoobie newbie and very close to all this.

Glad you got your car back and as this thread is a tad old/long, your car is probably back in your posession and all repaired.

I dont suppose it was you who came up behind me last night ooooer missus, near the (old name) toad and stumps last night Tuesday 7th. Blue 4dr?....

Steve.

No Steve, it wasn't me (if it was scarey, that would be Paul! though his isn't Blue either). Car is just about Completing repairs(long story - stupid confrontational attitude of Insurance Co).

Sorry this theard has been, but not all my doing. I will only submit a final report when all is completed (incase of benefit to others - Tracker, etc).

See you sometime - will email my contact off line.

Cheers

My Dealer's view....

"It'd take me 3 hours with the full resources of the workshop to get this out" (implies 'a real mess' too!!)

Seems more useful/deterrent than DiskLock?

Probably more useful - but less deterrent, as it's not readily visible, being a bar stuck into, but flush with, the gearbox! It's provided with a window sticker, of course, but opinions on such things are divided....
