Neil,

I'll try my best!!

Most of the 306's will be there about 9.30!

There are some cars wanting as late as possible, so I'll try my best to get you guys on as close to midday as possible! If not you'll only have to wait for a little while!!

Cheers
Andy

My car is in the garage being sorted as soon a they car but its looking likely that it won't be done in time.

Peter Rossington is still going and I'll come down with him if my car is not done.

Paul Higs is not going to have his Charade done in time and may bring his Golf GTi.

Will try and confrim tomorrow so any reserves can take up the slack.

Sorry

Allan,

It'd be a shame if you car isn't ready, but it will be good to finally meet you!

At the end of the day, we only needed 10 people to get the day, so no worries!

Hi Andy,

No where the number of cars POC has had!!! I've only had 9 cars in 13 years of driving!!! Although I've had 5 cars in the last 5 years!!

I sold the silver one when I bought my house and lost my job at the same time!!

I bought the blue one because I still had the Scoob bug, but when I realised it would never be a patch on the silver one, I was happy to sell it! I also proposed to my girlfriend at the time, so it gave me a good excuse to get rid of it!!

So for the next year I will have a Pug, and I guess I'll get something a little more 'interesting' after I'm married!!!

All ready, albeit with low boost, still I guess it gives me the chance to see what it pumps out at stock boost, then I can do it again when its raised back up and see what the difference is

Nothing wrong with Pugs Andy still got my 1.9 205 too!

Wink

The only thing wrong with Pugs is:

it's French
Unreliable
Eats disks and pads
Radiators are made of tin foil
Crap electrics
Quirky design features, leading to premature failure of parts!

I don't think I need to go on!!!

Cheers for sorting that Andy

I got 318.5bhp @ 6447rpm and 305lb/ft @ 3556rpm. 259bhp @ the wheels so a loss of about 18%...

The car has been running 1.2bar but after the boost issues its running standard boost of about 0.9bar at the moment, so I'll be back to retest when its back up again! Not bad going though at standard boost considering a J-Spec should "only" have 280bhp

So then, do I get the highest powered car of the day award?

176 BHP Can't argue with that! It's the way it picks up as it goes into the red that had me (and the guy rolling roading it) laughing.

Cheers guys for a good day, even if I did have to leave to go do housework!
