Hoping someone has e-mail notification turned on
I am very interested in attending this track day, but it being my first I wonder if could ask a few q's.
How much is the track day ?
What format will it take ie how and when are you on track ?
Are there different ability groups ?
After reading all the banter above, will it be a mental dog fight at 180 MPH ?
Will I fry my brakes ?
Any other information you think is relevant to me ?
Sorry to be a question asking gimp but we were all virgins once
PS I have some spare 17's ready for it as well !

From: Hampshire - now trying an M3
Andy,
I'll try and answer some of your questions... it's my first one as well, so i might not have ALL the answers
it is £185 for the day, i think it's 9 till 5.
there is a maximum of 35 cars, you go out in groups of 6 (or is 8?) for 6 laps at a time.
no different ability groups, there will probably be quite a few different types of cars/drivers. with such few cars on a circuit there won't really be a "mental dog fight" at 180
I shouldn't think you'll fry your brakes , goodwood is not reknown for heavy braking, BUT it's all down to how long and hard you press the brake pedal
6 laps and then join the queue in the pit lane - allows the car a bit of time to cool off.
haven't really got any more advice, apart from the obvious - check your fluids/tyre pressures/fuel level etc...
I would ring Dave Paul on the above number, he's organised quite a few and will have ALL the answers to your questions.
Hope to see you there
Iain.

Dingy i was having a laugh you gimp! 180mph is around the top speed of my car ive never drove this track before so ive no idea what the top speed will be but i should think 170mph is possible only guessing so dont try and use my word against me.
T3 310bhp max you say...fpsm someone already pointed out the tourning cars made 360bhp on a T3...lol
You have been proved wrong so please just get over it, am sure you will prove me wrong on something in the future, thats life...who gives a f##k.

Dingy like i said mate am only guessing at top end speeds on track so i will take your word for it if you say 140mph i have no reason not to believe you
You seem like a decent enough chap i will look forward to are next heated debate
Hi mellow castle coombe is much more suited to your scoobys close ratio gearing and your car in genral than my cossie if i had the spare cash and was free on that day i would come down for a fun day out but i wouldnt be betting any money against your scoob on this track anyway hope you enjoy your day
