Saw the grey WRX this evening. 6:40pm A25 between Oxted and Limpsfield. There's also a P1 parked around Limpsfield High st. and an STI8 UK near the Limpsfield Tennis Club, don't know if they're Scoobynetters.

btt, good to see Oxted getting a high profile for once !

Andy.

Edited to say - rude not to rip up Snatts Lane past the Council offices.

Completely off topic, but do you happen to still have your old front lights for sale. If so, v.interested.

wow - Surrey/West Kent mafia comes alive!
Must go west again to spot above list of Scoobs.

Various P1 owners - don't forget to acknowldege lowly WRX03 WagonPPP Silver - aka "The Stealth Wagon"! I rarely seem to get a response on the A25 from P1s!

Spotted a new one one the way home tonight...

Black bugeye saloon with what looked like a UK300 spoiler. No scoop, so either a Sport or one helluva FMIC

I saw it also (no wave or flash), looked too big for a UK300 spoiler although seemed more angular than the rally tech jobs.

mmm - suspect different car
but I saw a blue 03 (could have been 01?) with a very racy strut type spoiler (7oaks @ 07.45) - is that UK300?

didn't acknowledge wave!

And I hope it works!

Matt, as for a homemade job, are you offering to make one for me (knowing yu're a bit handy in the cardboard and selotape department)

LoFi thanks
nope - wasn't one of them!
Very much the rally/track/DIY job
suspect carbon on metal struts

if real then very expensive
(mate with 993 had GT2 race spoler- was £4000!!)

perhaps I'm colour blind and it was the car spotted above....
even more worried if i didn't spot 'missing' scoop

Just say the word with the spoiler - I'm imaging something made out of Weetabix boxes and *** packets, perhaps with a carbon fibre effect?

Hi Nick

I think that black wagon on the A25 was probably me.

Didn't see another Scooby this morning, though. Assume you were driving something else?

Blimey Nick, you get around a bit. And you have a great memory. I saw a scoob on the B269 (Limpsfield Road) this morning and all I can remember is that it was bugeye, oh and the guy waved, but I was so slow I didn't manage a proper wave back, relying on one of those half waves that nobody sees because it's obcured by the A-pillar.

kent, any help warmly appreciated, I've been off the pills for a while, maybe I should start back on them . I've got to quite liking the GT style spoilers for individuality.

Question

bother - only sighting was blue black classic 4 dr on way to station (riverhead/sevenoaks). Not a patch on Eagle Eye Nick!

Didn't appear to acknowledge my wave...

As a matter of interest - how many of the Kent/Sussex mafia on this thread use Lancaster in 7Oaks? I did for my Classic, but was so unimpressed when trying to buy replacement that switched to garage an hour away (Bell&Colville West Horsley).

They were far more open, friendly, keen (esp with price) so I decided worth the hassle factor. I told Lancaster and they didn't even seem bothered - and made feeble attempt to match ££

Did the whole A25 thing today and not one scooby, not even P1 on the Green at Westerham!

I use Lancasters for service. Seem alright and always able to fit me in unlike Concours in Haslemere. Also did the service even though full decat fitted! The salesmen there do seem a bit up their own..... so to speak.

So who's is the P1 that is often parked up in Oxted by the station - is it the optician's or the Safeway person? It may be the same one that goes to The Bell in Outwood.

I saw a bugeye saloon on the Lingfield Rd from Godstone yesterday, waved but got no reply.

Its not a case of being eagle eye'd but just do a lot of driving. Scoobs are easy to spot coming the other way cos of the bonnet scoop. you can see the shape a long way off and if your bored you just remember them.
There are plenty out there and especially it seems around this area.
7oaks Lancaster service mine which was imported, they are ok but they wouldnt/couldnt fit my STI projectors without selling me a new front end loom (did it myself in the end).
Its a company car so i dont have a lot to do with servicing costs or petrol thank god.
Made me smile when i saw the sales rep (who i had originally spoken to about buying one prior to ordering mine via Keyring cars - who were very helpful but now no longer) and told him i'd saved nearly six grand on his best price-even with my lights exhaust and wheels!

to be fair - never had a gripe with Lancaster's servicing (3yrs)
so pity really that sales team lost them a regular customer AND new car revenue. I thought car dealers were meant to be eager - they appeared almost disinterested - and inefficient (not following up/responding to q's)

Easier now car is serviced 12 months intervals - unless bits fall off, then West Horsley will be a pain from Brasted!

Hi all

I'll keep an eye open for you - I live between 7oaks/Tonbridge and work at Gatwick, so there's a good chance I'll see one of you.

MY99 DBM saloon with scoobysport decat

I can't have seen any of you because in 4 years of scooby ownership, I've only had about a dozen waves back and I've never been spotted on here.....
