Indiglo 52mm guages group buy
Hhmmmnn,
I may be able to live with these, but just incase I have found these guys,
www.importintelligence.com
I have emailed them to see if they can find out whether their kits are compatible with the Superhigh Technologies 52mm indiglo gauges. Also for prices on matching needle kits for your Scoobies, and my GTO.
C Ya,
Steve

Johnny - patience !!!
When I last spoke to voodoo they were worried about reading S/Net as they felt they may not like what they read, as they feel responsible for the slow service they are receiving from the USA.
I have dealt with companies in the USA and believe me the way they work is very different from they way we work in the UK.
Urgency is not a word in their vocabulary.
I am sure Voodoo are doing their best to ensure we all get our gauges as soon as physically possible.

Yeah i know Ian..
Not having a go as such at Voodoo, i realise they can only go as fast as the guages arrive..
I'm just an impatient booger !!
Although..if they could gift wrap them, and make them arrive for xmas..it'll gimme something else to open on Dec 25th.

just got mine fitted yesterday. Prosport in stockport did it for me, as I have neither the time or the know-how to tackle this job. they did warn me though that 1 of the wiring diagrams was a bit hard to follow, and also that the oil temp gauge needed an extra part which they had to butcher of another car!
It took them over 3 hours to fit as well, and the velcro that came with the 3 hole "a" pillar pod was sh**e and they fitted with 2 screws instead.
finally, how the hell do I now read my afr gauge. what does it mean exactly? it goes up and down only as high as amber on tickover. what warning signs should I be looking out for?
I have the afr, oil temp and boost.
It does all look rather cool though, and feel the need to watch "fast and furious" again

no problems reading them at night
I dont see what all the fuss was about really, the needle is not lit, but the numbers on the dial are, so you cant read the number that the needle is over, but you can read the one either side of it, therefore, after a small amount of thinking, you can work out what the obscured number is
Like I said before though, these dont seem to be easy to fit, so if your like me, and totally have no idea mechanically, leave it to a pro

gussy, I've been billed for an "oil pump boss", whatever one of those is?
They had none in stock, so ripped one off another car!
Hope that helps,
ps, you could always give prosport a ring, and talk to them about it.

Which part of the wild west would that be ?? I still need to find (I think) a GL centre console so that I can have a 1 din CD player and the gauges. Also worried about the oil thingy that CW42 had to get. Could Voodoo help ??

I found the same problem fitting an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to a mate's Eclipse turbo. The oil pump/filter area has a couple of allen bolts blocking off spare holes. The thread on these isn't the same as the aftermarket gauge's sender unit. What you need is an adaptor to make one screw thread (gauge sender) fit into a hole of a different thread (oil distribution block). If you could get in touch with the guys who fitted your gauge and find out the thread size of the sender, and the hole, at least people would be able to pre-arrange the adaptors. I would imagine they should be off the shelf stuff from a hydraulics place.

Junk!
I agree talizman, but then I've already nearly curbed my car after I got them fitted, staring in awe at the info they provide
Do you really have the ability to look at them closely while you are driving? I dont think so, it could be very dangerous! I think I may video tape a run out, and watch the vid back later to see what sort of max boost I am getting
