Sorry to hear that charlie, you'll have to make it on the next one!
What exactly is the tour of derbyshire?
That day, we are going to Blackpool for the lights in a scooby convoy, it seems there is going to be a clash!
Hope to see you soon,
chris.

Ok chaps, hope your cars are clean, your bags packed, you've got clean underwear on, and a big fat credit card in your pocket!
Start your engines, and have a great weekend.
See you all real soon,
and remember, be careful out there!

Hello!!!
I ended up missing a fair chunk of the meet - painter/decorator turned up at 9am (had been arranged for last weekend!!!); he stayed 'til about 2.30pm.
Once he'd done his bit, there followed a mad dash to get my tyres up to proper pressure, then a sprint from Caernarfon up to the Sportsmans on the triangle.
Once there, we stood about, chatting with a few Scoobynet members for about 45minutes, waiting for others to find their way, but by then, I had to start thinking about going back home.
Had yet another scary moment on the triangle (seems to happen every time) - overcooked it trying to pass a red Alfa on some open bends (but not as open as I thought!!!). Front end went heavy, back end went light, together and independently in the space of 2 to 4 seconds. Alfa driver was pretty pissed off, understandably. I probably scared him as much as I scared myself. Ho-hum. You live and learn, eh?
How did the rest of the drive go?
Met Carl555DBM, Steel and CharleyWhiskey. Caught up with Turboray, DK1 and offspring, but, due to the fecking decorator, didn't have the time to get to know, or even talk to anyone else.
Who was the main man, Chris Wilkinson (CW42)??
Kev (getting another change of pants)

A fantastic weekend for all of us I think (except steelx obviously!)
The roads in wales are fantastic, the people too. The scenery is as spectacular as always, and I got some on the video and pictures to follow.
Thanks to everyone who came to visit us this weekend from Liverpool and North Wales.
I think a trip to Scotland is on the cards for the next weekend away!
I'll post up the pictures tomorrow, as I am knackered now, and off for an early night! I would imagine gav is already in bed!
See you all soon,
chris

Fantastic weekend, knackered when I got home!
In-car Gav/Pete banter was best - Cat-One's, Gav's Mom, musical interludes, sheep - never stopped laughing all the way round.
Great video Chris, I could even remember some of the more interesting corners!
This is what I bought the car for - looking forward to the Nurburgring!

Cheers to Chris, Andy and everyone else who helped plan routes etc. I had a great time. As I pulled onto the drive i'd clocked up exactly 400 miles since the new discs and pads went on Friday night. I think they are bedded in now, due to the purple colour!
OH! I have to get me some of those walkie talkies!!!!
Cheers all, looking forward to the Curborough day now, even more than I was.
