The DCT4 unlocker is now widely available and no longer requires the Dongle.
As for the fones warranty or insurance - of course you won't invalidate it. You are removing a SP (Service Provider) Lock, which just ensures that the phone is only used on the Network of the Operator who subsidised your handset (Yes they really do cost more than 99p!!!).
These codes should be applied with the sim removed.
Key 7 (The 7th one on the list) will normally unlock all locks, use this one first.

"pw" you will get "p" and "w" letters by pressing the "+" key a few times. (star key)
CODE = 15digit code in
3. If your phone will not be unlocked by typing code "L1"(lock1), (you get "code error")
Then use "L7" (lock7-multilock).
Anyone still needing a code feel free to ask me.
