I thought of that too. But where do you mount it so you can have access to the DVD drive? Also shut down controllers need access to the motherboard etc. Power supply needs to be regulated as well.

Also it's actually cheaper, I already have a laptop and don't want the hassle of taking it in and out all the time.

I now have everything together and am waiting patiently for the motorised in dash touchscreen VGA which has been put back again to the end of January ARRghhh. But will hopefully mean that Media engine with Destinator support will be up and running.
