I did a restore (xp) a couple of hours ago and seems okay at the mo after installing a firewall

Remember, that despite the fact that it may be listed under "Add/Remove Programs" and under installed Windows Updates you may still be vulnerable if you have reinstalled SP3 or SP4.

UPDATE: Machines infected with MSBlaster are do not appear in scans by Retina....
