You may stand a chance with subsonic rounds, but most rifle rounds have a muzzle velocity of around 2000 fps (and upwards), even shotguns are around 1500 fps at the muzzle.
I seem to remember some dodgy martial arts film where this guy dodges bullets and ends up running across water - so unless you are him I'd say you would have to somehow preempt the shot as you certainly couldn't rely on the sound to give you enough (or any) notice!

Don't forget that the bullet is dropping towards the ground as it flies, so if you drop to the ground and you're at the far end of the rifles's range, you'll just be dropping into the bullet.
