rich - you must have made a mistake. No-one goes to Luxembourg. They just pass through it.

 

One offs are all very well guys and gals, but hows this...

Every weekend I drive 30 miles for an espresso, when I have an espresso machine in the kitchen.

I think I've just realised why my 10,000 service came around so quickly.

 

To aberystwyth and back for my graduation, of which the only record is the photos taken by the company based 5 miles from my house. Total distance : 516 miles.....

 

Drove to Macduff one sunday evening from North Berwick..

Had a pint of Belhaven Best and came home..not much point really !

 

I forgot, I also drove from Bracknell to Glasgow and back in a day to deliver some lights for a freind and then drove back up four days latter to pick them up, and then returned home via yorkshire. Probably did 2000 miles in a week!!!! This is why my car had 208000miles on it when I sold it.

 

Just a minor detour Richard, the fuel was cheap there so why not? Ah, Red Bull i can handle.

I once drove from Manchester to croft racing circuit and back after being wound up in an argument. I couldnt think where to go so thought, sod it, i havnt been to that track yet. It was about midnight at the time. LOL

 

Driving to surrey every weekend!!!! Only kidding

 

I did a 620mile road trip . Ok the 1st 212 miles were taking my Dad to heathrow airport and driving back home, which I duly picked up a friend and drove down to Falmouth. Visted a friend, had some fish and chips, then drove back!

worst of all I did in my Dad's old Rover 216, So not the most pleasurable of trips !

Went to local newagent to get a magazine (less than 1 mail round trip) ended up going 150 miles

Of ya gotta love them country roads that just lead nowhere but to more country roads
