Devon/Cornwall Meet - Widemouth BBQ
Just got my car back from the repairers yesterday. What was initially going to be a two week job turned into nearly 4 weeks. They have done a fantastic job - you'de never know it was badly smashed up.
I'll be up for a convoy.
How about meeting at Sainsbury's at 2.30pm then stop off at the Shell garage / Little Chef at Trerulefoot for any Cornish folk (although probably not the most direct route)??
Springbok - are you bringing the Mrs? If so then Juliet will probably come - they can talk about baby things!!! We've only got just over 5 weeks left (AGHHHHHHHH!!!!)She is now finding the bucket seats in an STi a rather snug fit!!
See you on Sunday
Simon

Anyhow down to business! Is anyone taking a decent size barbque or are we all using disposables?
I'll have to remember to go shopping on saturday then
Looking forward to it!

Yep thanks to Phil for organising this one, we'll let you off for the odd drop of rain. Thinking of it, it wouldn't be a British BBQ without a drop of the wet stuff

Have you seen these people, last seen in Widemouth burning grass, no not htat sort

cool pics, just shows that us blokes do some cooking but only only when fire and an elemnet of danger is involved
should also mention that reports of several scorched grass marks all the same size and in close proximity, have locals baffled this morning .... there have also been reports of strange vehicles with large rear wings flying back and forth
its quite interesting to have a shot of the p1 classic, sti7 and sti8 in a row showing how the car shape has changed over the last 3 years (!) and the just how large the front scoop now is (simon just how many birds have you sucked into it - feathered type of course

Hello everyone!
Sorry we didn't make it on Sunday ... we had a houseful of people (I'd forgotten they were arriving!) - so no go for Widemouth. Looks like fun though, perhaps the burnt areas of grass could be the new crop circles lol
