The route I had in mind was about 70 miles, finish at one of three possible pubs about 8-8:30 ish

Start will be either Markeaton MaccyD's or somewhere near Etwall, can someone from that side let me know what is realistic at 6-6:30pm???

If you're on about traffic volume, pretty much nothing around at that time of the evening - well, there wasn't half an hour ago!!

Thumbs up

OK 52 side of MaccyD's it is

Route will be 'fluid' so I might just make my mind up as we go although I do know roughly which way we are going, how far we can realistically get and still, hopefully, eat

Just have to set myself an alarm so I dont forget!

Think I'll have to miss this one. Starting a little too early for me at the moment. Busy at work and will probably not leave until 6:15 tonight

Next time

Hope you all had fun tho... sure I'll make it for the next one

Gotta rank as one of the slowest runs ever!! What with Kev running out of fuel/cylinders/power ( ), and Mikee's new monster engine being held back to 3500rpm (and stalling at anything less than 2000!!), along with the odd emergency fuel stop......

Still, was all good fun!! Thanks for thinking/making-up the route CW.

Shame Casper couldn't stay on for longer - you car looks v. - you'll get up to full turbo cornering speed soon!!

Nice meal in the pub we stopped at - shame the heavens opened at the exact moment we stopped in the car park.

Oh yeah. The rondezvous point turned out to be perfect timing, no sooner had we & CW stopped, then Mikee & Kev turned up....along with a huge JCB!!

Boost? You got Boost?

Never thought I reved it enough for that Makes a change to be able to admire the scenary, read the map, study the weather AND go round the corners

But even i was falling asleep with those pair of muppets on the A52 'What speed shall we do?, 50, no, 45, no, 40, no, 35, no, 40, no, but 45 through a 30 limit, oh yes!' then brake for EVERY bend, car, hedge, blade of grass

The only thing that kept me awake was the fear of running into the back of that Hi-Kux
