NATIONAL BIG ONE 2004 ##########
The Lads did a great job last year and should be congratulated on the copious amounts of effort put in.
Bet you a pound to a penny more commercial people turn up next year. I remember from an earlier post the number of companies contacted for this year, and how many showed an interest!!!!
Make sure you look after the people who came this year, I like many others bought items on the day (and fitted it –the wife told me to buy it honest!!) increase the numbers of attendees and the commercial outlets proportionately and for god’s sake don’t lose site of the roots.

we will be looking after the suppliers who supported us from an eary stage when we hoped to get 100 scoobs !!
at the end i was turning other suppliers away as they jumped on the bandwagon !
with the plans under way allready this will be one of the most popular car events in the country but we will never forget our roots .

No tot hijack to badly or anything I hope, but 'us welsh' are looking to organise a weekend meet sometime around july/August next year, to be held at the former WRC stage at Sweet Lamb, which I am sure all you rally slags will have some fond memories of!!
As a quick point, would SIDC be willing to help out with this, as part of a 'driving weekend' where some of the Welsh countryside could be used for those wishing to explore some of the best roads in the UK! Although not as central as the NBO, it may appeal to others for a social weekend and a good meet for what are essentially rally cars! We are hoping to get a rally school to come along as well to take people out around the stage as well, with any money made (after costs obviously) going to charity.
Like I saidm, unintentional hijack, so if the mod's choose to move this to another post then that is ok! Just put it here to guage response...

Thanks for the reply, sunday 13th june fathers day is agreeable with me.
I will be blasting my way up from Oxfordshire for the very auspicious occasion.
We are humbled by your kind generosity in letting us use the grounds of your stately home to host what has become the National Subaru Event, bringing all the clubs together for the premier Subaru event of the year.
I trust you will be bring your faithful steed to the event for 2004

Can we tone the sunshine down just a couple of notches this year please. My head hasn't recovered since the last NBO.
This is going to be another fantastic event
